Circle of Light is delighted to have received a Highly Commended recognition in the Rocksteady Award for Progressive and Inclusive Music Education at the Music & Drama Education Awards 2026.
Circle of Light is our award-winning youth music project supporting young people aged 16–25 to explore their thoughts, feelings and emotions through music making in a supportive and creative environment. The project provides a space where young people can express themselves, develop confidence and connect with others through songwriting, collaboration and performance.
Receiving this recognition highlights the importance of inclusive music education and the powerful role creativity can play in young people’s wellbeing and personal development.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Youth Music for their ongoing support of youth-led music projects, to RSL Awards (Rockschool London) for championing progressive music education, and to the Music & Drama Education Awards for recognising the work being done to create accessible and inclusive opportunities for young people in music.
Most importantly, we celebrate the young people and the dedicated team at the heart of Circle of Light, whose creativity, openness and passion make the project such a special and inspiring space.
