I Come From…

We start every COL project with an ice breaker to get us all feeling confident and thinking creative. For this project we used ‘I Come From…’ which is a beautiful poetry exercise introduced to us by Fringe Poetry. It allowed us all to reflect on the small things that have contributed to our individual experience. With people from so many different backgrounds in the room, this project helped us start forming positive connections with each other before we got stuck into to making music. Being creative and collaborating can be a really vulnerable process and "‘I Come From…’ was the perfect way to get everyone comfortable with one another.
