Izaak is a passionate singer, songwriter and producer, creating his own music, down to the last details, stemming from a range of musical inspirations. Learning audio production from an early age, studying the old school hip-hop genres and creating similarly sample beats with anything from jazz and blues to rock and reggae. Moving in his own direction Izaak has started to produce a blend of genres, creating a dark digital foundation with contrasting empowering lyrics. While still being labeled hip-hop, its draws its influences from psychedelic digital sounds from rock, dance and alternative music while still incorporating tempo and timbre of hip-hop just in a more experimental manner. The purpose of each sound layer and construction is to portray the struggle he battles with depression and anxiety. As his mental health struggles are exposed through the sounds, the basis of the lyrics and the idea of the profession of the songs are to show how strong you can be and how dealing with difficult things doesn’t have to break you but make you a better person and a stronger person. The empowerment of the strength in the light of life is a hefty theme throughout his music and his goals and aspirations have adapted to help other people understand and grow throughout their own struggles in life.
