Eleanor Kate is an East Midlands based singer-songwriter known for thought-provoking lyrics and soft, soulful vocal performances.
My approach to songwriting encapsulates my own perspective on the human experience; this alongside an emphasis on acoustic instruments lends a rawness to my sound. With influences such as Daughter, Ben Howard, Sleeping at Last and Bon Iver, I would describe my style as a marriage of indie pop and softie folk.
I have played live performances around the Midlands including Metronome, Rough Trade and Bodega and have been featured on BBC Introducing with my track ‘Hand in Mine’, one of three singles I released in 2022. In the same year I released the track ‘Sound in Silence’ on the Circle of Light album and graduated from NTU with a BA in Music Performance. I hope to contribute to more exciting music projects over the next few years and build my career.
